Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of unelma.dev. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them.

Private access

Unelma is currently available by invitation only, to the fashion teams and manufacturers we work with directly. We decide who is invited, and may withdraw an invitation. The platform is under active development: features can change or be removed, and we will tell you about changes that matter to your work. What you see inside is not public. Please do not publish screenshots, recordings or descriptions of unreleased features without our written agreement.

Accounts opened while sign-up was public

Sign-up closed on 21 September 2026, and there is no wind-down period. An account created before that date can sign in only to download its designs and data, or to delete itself. Your pictures stay available for as long as the account exists, and nothing you made has been deleted. If you work in fashion professionally and want to carry on using Unelma, ask us for private access and we will consider it like any other request.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Unelma, and at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to buy or sell anything through it. You confirm that when you set a password on the invitation we send you, or when you accept an invitation to a team.

Your account

Keep your credentials safe. Activity under your account is your responsibility. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

Your content

You own what you create. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process and display your content so the service can work, which ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies others have lawfully received. Only upload material you have the right to use, and only upload a photograph of a person when that person has agreed to it.

Acceptable use

Don't upload unlawful or infringing work, copy another brand's trade marks or designs, create sexual content involving minors or a real person's likeness without their consent, disrupt the service, automate it beyond fair use, or reach for data that isn't yours. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules, and we close the accounts of repeat infringers. See Copyright and content reports.

Generated designs

Unelma uses generative AI, and the pictures it produces are AI-generated. Outputs can resemble other work. We don't promise any design is unique, protectable, manufacturable as drawn, or free of third-party rights; check before you sell. If you publish an AI-generated picture of a realistic person, say that it is AI-generated where the law requires it.

Plans, payments and fair use

During the private beta, what your team gets and what it costs is agreed with us directly rather than chosen from a published plan. Creation is unlimited within fair use: daily rate limits and abuse detection apply. Paid purchases are one-off payments unless the checkout clearly says they renew. A purchase that renews tells you the price, the period and how to cancel before you pay, and you can cancel any time in Settings with effect from the end of the period you have paid for.

Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK you may withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. Credits and other digital content are delivered at once: by paying you ask us to start immediately and accept that the right of withdrawal ends once the content has been delivered. For unused purchases, write to support@unelma.dev within 14 days and we refund them.

Manufacturing

Manufacturers on Unelma are independent businesses. A quote is the manufacturer's offer; when you accept it, the contract for making the piece is between you and that manufacturer. Unelma does not estimate prices or delivery times, and does not guarantee a manufacturer's work.

Liability

The site is provided as it is. Where the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. If you are a consumer you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in, and you may bring a claim there. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we tell you at least 30 days before it takes effect; if you don't agree, you can close your account.
